Run in's with a Trabiesa

So I am finally ready to talk about my funny m oments after my accident. While at the hospital I went through a series of x-rays, CAT scans, etc. When I went for my first set of x-rays the nurse had me take off all my earrings and any other jewelry that I was wearing because the metal would interfere. Well The technician took my xrays and then he left out and came back in and whispered something to another tech and this went on for about five minutes. So I started to worry, as did my mom. While we were trying to decipher what the techs were talking about one of the guys came over to me (did I mention that he was gorgeous) and he asked me if I had a belly button ring. I said no and so he explained to me that a butterly shaped object was showing in my xray...I immediately began blushing and had to explain to him that my G-string has a metal butterfly on the back. At this point they'd asked my mom to leave so that they could as me these questions so there I was laing on this cold flat x-ray table and I had to remove my choines. To top it all off I was really sore and couldn't bend at all because of my stomach injuries so the, oh so gorgeous, tech had to remove them for me. While this may have been a fantasy of mine...under the circumstances, I could have done without that...lol. So, just recently I was very sick at work and had to rush to the emergency room and well guess what I was wearing...yet again...you got it! A G-string! This time I had a design on the back that said flirt. I had to hav a CAT scan done and again a tech came out and asked me if I had a belly button ring. This time I laughed so hard I was crying. I was just happy that I could bend and take my own damn choines off this time around. Moral of the story kids...if you're Grace (like I am) wear panties that cover your butt and have no metal objects. You never know when you might have to shimmy them off...lol

Well, Christmas was nice. I got a new laptop from my parents and all of the goodies to go with it! I'm having a blast with it. I like to do some work from home every now and again and it was beautiful this past weekend to be able to prop up on my pillow and do everything that I needed to do, includin internet stuff. I've been sick all week so getting out of bed has not been one of my favorite things to do. I'm finally starting to feel better though! I am going to buy RObert his big gift my next paycheck. There is this phone that he has been wanting for quite some time now and I'm gonna get it for him. He'll be so excited. Well I'll be working for the new year so I won't party hard...I guess that's a good thing. More later ya'll.

Looking back...I'm going into 2007 with so many changes. For one, I will go into 2007 as a divorced woman. I will be living in a new city and a new county for the first time ever. I have never lived outside of San Bernardino county...it's a bit scary to think about, but, it is a wise career move. I will be a graduate! Forgot to tell ya'll that I finally got my degree. WooHoo! I'm going to go for my MBA in about a year (I need a break). So we'll see. I'm in love with a new man, a good man, a man worth holding onto for life. His name is Jesus. I lost him in the crowd for a while but we have hooked back up and my life is starting to sort itsef out. Things with my boyfriend are going well. We get to know one another more and more every day. Well I got myChrsitmas presentfrom Robert about two weeks ago. I have been wanting a new stereo system (trying to personalize my new car!) since I bought the Focus. He wonke me up on a Saturday morning and told me that he wanted to go shopping. Well we wnt to this store and he said he'd be right back that he just had to grab some stuff. I waited in the car (and fell asleep) and when I woke up he was coming out with all this stuff that he put in the trunk. Then we got to the house and he started fidding around with my car and the called me out and said Merry Christmas babe!!! I was soooo stoked. I love it!!! I have an idea of what I want to get from him. I hope he likes it as much as I loved my gift...lol.

We are moving to West Covina at the end of the year. I am excited. It's a nice two bed room house with plenty of space or Makayla to play around in and have her own room to sleep in. This is myfirst round o holidays without husband...without Eddie. It feels a little weird I must admit. This is RObert'sfirst holiday go round without his ex as well. We talked a little bit this morning about some things and I can see the hurt in his eyes...I hurt my heart to see him like that. December 7th was our 1 year anniversary...wow one year. Funny how time flys, whether you're having fun or just going through changes. Huh...

I wentback to ochurch last Sunday and I went again this Sunday. It felt so good to be back amongst family. I really missed OCC. I thought thatit would beweird beingaround Eddie and that everyone would ask questions that I was not prepared to answer. Yet, they all just welcomed be back with open arms and a lot of love. I will be there every Sunday that I am able to go. I have really missed being in the house of the LORD.

Things have been up and down for me. I was in a terrible car accident about two months ago. A guy ran a red light and my cars was totaled. By the grace of God I wasonly badly bruised and sore, but other than that okay. I am getting through it though. My one year anniversary with Robert is approaching and it still feels a bit akward I must say. This Thanksgiving I brought my boyfriend around. No one should ever have to get used to saying that they have a boyfriend once they've gotten married. Oh well.
